Terms and Conditions

For the use of the Nutritional Values Platform which consists of the website identified by the URL: nutritional-values.md („Site”) is recommended that you read and accept the terms and conditions below, which have the value of a contract between CRUD DEVELOPMENT SRL (the "Company) and any person, Visitor or User accessing the Platform. Use of the Platform implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. In the absence of this acceptance, explicit or implicit, on your part, you may not use the Site.

The Company reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time. Such changes shall be deemed to be accepted by mere use of the Platform. Users will have permanent access to the terms and conditions of use of the Platform by accessing the «Terms and Conditions» page at any time. It is your responsibility to comply with the latest version of the Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy in force at all times.

For any questions regarding our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, please contact us at contact@valori-nutritionale.md. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use in their entirety please do not use the Platform.

1. Who are we?

The application is operated by CRUD DEVELOPMENT SRL, established and validly registered in Romania, having its registered office in Sos. Drumul Opalului nr 1-43, Bloc Cocor, Sc A, ap 6, Sector 1, Bucharest, registered with the Trade Register under no. J40/4282/2023, unique registration code 47752093

2. Definitions

For this document we use the following terms with the meaning specified in this list:

User, Customer - Any person who accesses materials or functionalities made available on any channel (website, social media, e-mail) provided by Nutritionvalues.md

We, Us, Society, Company, CRUD DEVELOPMENT SRL - means the company identified with the above data

Service, Application - means all functions offered by the website and platform nutritional-values.md

Nutritional values - means the name of the platform and website that deals with the generation of nutritional values for menus including additives and allergens.

3. Using the service nutritional-values.md

The user is responsible for keeping the access data confidential. In case the activity on the website was made by means of this data, the user is responsible for the actions taken by means of the access data. If information is misappropriated using your access data, CRUD DEVELOPMENT SRL assumes no responsibility.

The user is responsible for adding the ingredients and their quantities in the application, as well as all other information related to the recipes (allergens, additives, possible additives, frozen ingredients, etc.) CRUD DEVELOPMENT SRL only provides the data entry and calculation service of the nutritional declaration, therefore does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy of the data entered by users.

4. Creating a user account

To make full use of the Platform, you will create a User Account by completing the electronic registration form. You will complete all fields marked as mandatory in that form. In case of refusal to provide the mandatory information requested during the registration of the User Account, the Company is entitled to refuse the registration.

When creating your User Account you will be asked to tick the “I agree to Terms and conditions and the creation of the subscription.” . By ticking this field and continuing to create your account, you explicitly and voluntarily agree to the provisions of the Contract, declaring that you have read this Contract and that you undertake to respect it.

The Company may keep log files with the Users' IP address on its Servers, as well as any other information, necessary to identify the User and to reproduce the User's agreement to the Contract, in case of disputes.

By using the Platform, the User assumes full responsibility for all activities carried out through the Account he/she opens on the Platform. Consequently, the User is solely responsible for ensuring the security of the Account password and other access data.

In case the security of your Account is compromised, you should immediately notify the Company via the Contact page or by email at contact@valori-nutritionale.md. The Company cannot be held liable for any damage caused to Users / any third parties through unauthorised use of the Account.

5. Terms and conditions regarding Payments

Price, Payment, Return Policy

Access to the functionalities for the calculation of nutritional values is only possible by creating a free account valid for 5 days and with only 3 credits (recipes) or after payment of the service type annual subscription.

Payment is per subscription - each subscription has a number of credits needed to create a recipe.

There are three tariff plans:

The displayed price is for one year for the subscription of 10 recipes, 100 recipes and 100 recipes + data entry service in the user account.

If you wish to purchase additional credits, this is done from within the app, after creating your account by choosing one of the available options.

Credits allocated to a location are valid only for the validity period of the subscription, if the subscription has expired and the credits have not been used, they can only be used after the subscription has been extended. Credits do not leave the account, but cannot be used.

The price of the service is displayed in MDL and is payable before using the service.

The Company reserves the right to cancel any Order when the Subscription price has been erroneously displayed on the Website, including due to a technical error.

1 (one) credit is consumed for each recipe added.

If the user adds a recipe and then deletes it - the credit remains consumed.

Credits that remain unutilised are not refundable. The client may not request the return of the value of the unutilised credits.

The Company reserves the right to change the Subscription prices. The price change will only affect Users who register after the price change and existing Users who purchase a new Subscription after the price change.

The Company will issue to the User an invoice for the ordered package on the basis of the User's billing data that the User has previously provided to the Company.

Payment for the application is valid for one calendar year from the moment of account creation.

Subscription can be extended:

- If you have paid by card - automatically, on the expiry date of your subscription, an automatic payment will be made for the subscription valid for another 1 calendar year

- If you have paid by standing order, you will have to make a further payment by standing order to extend your subscription for another 1 calendar year.

In both cases you can change the payment method. If you paid by Payment Order and your subscription has expired, click Activate Plan and pay by card.

6. Methods of payment

Payment will be made online by bank card (Visa/Maestro/MasterCard) through Stripe and you will need to fill in a form with your card information on the secure page of the payment processor.

Payments with Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards (Visa/Visa Electron and MasterCard/Maestro) are made using the „3-D Secure” system developed by the organisations, which provides the same level of security for online transactions as for those made at an ATM or in the physical environment at the merchant.

Payment can also be made by money order (bank transfer) following the steps:

- send us an email to contact@valori-nutritionale.md with:

       - invoice data

       - location name

       - name of contact person

       - the email with which you want to log in to the application

       - telephone number

- we issue a proforma invoice and send it to you by email

- send us proof of payment

- we will create your account and issue a tax invoice.

Important to know - There is no fee for bank card payments.

Bank card details are not stored in the Valori Nutritionale application and do not reach the company in any form. They are only managed by the Stripe payment processor.

7. Use of automatic generation functionalities with Artificial Intelligence

7.1 The following AI assisted functionalities are available to the user in the application:

a) Generate ingredients and quantities based on a recipe name and quantity - the user can enter a recipe name and quantity (e.g. „Pasta bolognese, 250 g”) and the system will automatically propose a list of ingredients and estimated quantities.

b) Enter new ingredients via image upload - the user can upload a photo of a food label (ingredients, nutritional values, allergens, additives if any) and the system will automatically recognise the data from the label and add it to the database. In order for this function to work correctly, the image must clearly contain the nutritional values, list of ingredients, allergens and/or additives (if mentioned).

c) Enter recipes by menu upload - the user can upload a menu image (or a list of menus) and the system will automatically detect the recipe name, quantity, price and category. Based on this information, the app will suggest ingredients and estimated quantities for the recipe.

d) Recipe upload - the user uploads the recipe in PDF, Word, xls or photo format. The application will then colourise the images and add recipes with the ingredients specified by the user to the user's account and calculate the nutritional values.

7.2 User Verification - All information automatically generated by the above functions is indicative. The user is obliged to check and validate the correctness of ingredients, quantities, allergens, additives and nutritional values before using them for the purpose of publication (e.g. on the digital menu) or supply to customers.

e) Limitation of Liability - The Company assumes no responsibility for any errors, inaccuracies or omissions resulting from the use of AI-assisted functionality. The User understands and accepts that results are not guaranteed and the ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of the data rests with the User.

f) Changes and Developments - The Company reserves the right to modify, improve or remove AI-assisted features at any time. The User will/may be informed of changes under the terms of this policy.

8. Introducing recipes

If you opt for the PRO plan, where the recipes, ingredients and quantities for each ingredient will be entered into the app by the Nutrition Facts team, you must:


1. Make payment and create an account


2. Email contact@valori-nutritionale.md the menu and recipe for the number of credits purchased.

In general, the delivery time is 7 calendar days.

Our team will get back to you with the calculated menu delivery time.

The receipt must contain the following information:

- Recipe name;

- The net weight of a portion (how much the finished product weighs that the customer consumes);

- Number of servings for which the recipe is prepared;

- List of ingredients used

- Amount of each ingredient used

9. Money back

If the User wishes to return the money, this will be done within 30 days, on the basis of a request sent, no later than 14 days from the date of creation of the user account, in the case of the 100 recipes package, only if less than 5 credits have been consumed, to the email address contact@valori-nutritionale.md.

In the case of subscription extension after one calendar year from the date of the last payment, the Provider is not obliged to refund the subscription fee if the subscription has already been extended.

CRUD Development makes every effort to ensure the best possible accuracy of the final data, but limits liability for any problems resulting from the use of the platform by maximising the refund of the amount paid for the current month. This refund can only be requested once.

10. Contract duration

This contract is entered into for an indefinite period starting from the date of creation of the customer account or creation of the location in the application, and the obligations of the parties shall come into force from that date.

As soon as the payment is made for the chosen type of subscription, the Customer will have access to the services included in the subscription package from the moment the Provider confirms the payment. 

Order cancellation can be made within 14 days from the account creation, provided that no more than 5 credits have been consumed in the customer/ location account.

Any errors in the customer's order can be corrected within 14 days by sending an email to contact@valori-nutritionale.md from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 18:00.

If the Customer does not notify the cancellation of the subscription at least 24 hours prior to the subscription extension, the subscription will be automatically extended for another 1 calendar year without any further formalities.

The automatic extension is made only on the basis of automatic payment by the customer with the card saved with the payment processor, Stripe.

The Customer may notify the Provider of the cancellation of the subscription no later than 24 hours prior to the extension of the subscription at contact@valori-nutritionale.md

11. Contract cancellation

This contract shall terminate in the following cases:

a. the parties mutually agree on the termination of the contract;

b. non-fulfilment or repeated defective fulfilment of contractual obligations by one of the parties;

c. non-payment of the subscription by the Client. In case the Customer does not pay the subscription extension fee, the subscription is suspended and the Customer will not be able to use the functions of the Service until the Provider confirms the payment. The Customer has the possibility to reactivate the subscription from his account by sending an email with proof of payment to contact@valori-nutritionale.md.

d. unilateral decision of one of the parties, sent in writing to the other party, the receipt of the notice of termination must take place at least 24 hours before the extension of the subscription;

e. in the event of the dissolution, liquidation, bankruptcy, withdrawal of the operating authorisation of one of the contracting parties, in which case the parties will be required to pay the debts of one to the other, debts arising up to the time of the intervention of the cause of extinction.

12. Forta majora

Neither party shall be liable for non-performance of its contractual obligations if such non-performance is due to an event of force majeure. By force majeure is understood any external, unforeseeable, absolutely invincible and unavoidable event occurring after the entry into force of the contract and which prevents the partial or total performance of the obligations assumed by the parties.

13. Right to compensation

The User shall be entitled to claim compensation for damages arising as a result of total or partial non-performance of the Contract by the Company. However, the Company cannot be held liable for losses which neither the User nor the Company could not reasonably have foreseen at the commencement of the User's use of the Platform, nor for losses which do not result as a result of fault or a breach of legal or contractual obligations on the part of the Company. The liability that the Company (as a provider of Paid-for Content), has to the Users in respect of compensation is limited to the price paid for the purchase of the Paid-for Content to which the User's claim relates. The Company shall have no liability to the User in respect of Paid Content or Free Content that they may find offensive or inappropriate. None of the conditions set out in this clause affect the rights that the law recognises to individuals as consumers.

CRUD DEVELOPMENT SRL makes every effort to ensure the best possible accuracy of the final data, but limits liability for any problems arising from the use of the platform by maximising the refund of the amount paid for the use of the product. This refund can only be requested once.

14. Statements

By publishing information, such as recipes or food, together with graphical/contextual content etc. you grant the right to use the mentioned information under licence free of charge valori-nutritionale.md and CRUD DEVELOPMENT SRL , and thereby the right to use, distribute, publish this information as offline or online content.

The Company cannot be held liable for anything that is imputed to the User by the User's customers or by the control bodies through the User's disclosure of information to the User's customers.

The User has full responsibility in working with its customers through the Platform.

The user is solely responsible for the content created on the platform.

CRUD DEVELOPMENT SRL is not an ISSPNPC accredited body, it is not a nutritionist or a laboratory specialised in the calculation of the nutritional declaration.

The calculations are purely mathematical according to the conversion factors available in Annex XIV - Conversion factors of REGULATION (EU) No 1169/2011 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 25 October 2011

The computer does not guarantee the correctness of the calculations if the food has undergone heat treatment processes (boiling, baking, frying, etc.).

The recipes entered in the Valori Nutritionale application or sent to our team to be entered in the application remain confidential and are not shared with other users, competitors, etc. They are displayed to customers within the legal requirements: ingredients, weight of each ingredient, number of servings, additives, allergens. These settings can be modified by each customer in the Menu Settings section, but the Valori Nutritionale team does not take responsibility for displaying recipes without all legal requirements.

15. About updating, changing and limiting the Services

Our Services are constantly evolving. As new features are released, we need the flexibility to make changes, impose limits, and occasionally suspend or terminate certain Services. We may also update our Services, which may not function properly.

Services change frequently and their form and functionality may change without prior notice to you.

We may provide updates (including automatic updates) to certain Services when we deem it appropriate. These may include upgrades, modifications, bug fixes and/or new features (collectively, „Updates”). Certain parts of our Services may not function properly. You acknowledge and agree that the Services may not function properly if we do not make these Updates. You further agree that the Terms (and any additional modifications to them) will apply to any and all Service Updates. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any or all of the Services at any time, including the availability of any product, feature, database or Content. In addition, we have no obligation to provide Updates or to continue to provide or enable any particular feature or functionality of any Service. We may also impose limits on certain Services or restrict your access to some or all of the Services without notice or liability.

16. Law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions of Use are governed by Romanian law and Romanian courts will have jurisdiction over any claim arising out of or relating to any use of our services.

The parties agree that all disagreements relating to the contract or its interpretation, performance or termination shall be settled amicably. If amicable settlement is not possible, disputes shall be settled by the competent court according to law.

17. Personal Date

What types of personal data do we collect about you?

We use Google Analytics services (https://www.google.com/analytics), Facebook Pixel (https://www.facebook.com/business/learn/facebook-ads-pixel), Hotjar (https://www.hotjar.com/) to see how you use the Site and so that we can improve the User experience.

These services collect various information about your location and the device from which you access the Site as well as information about how you use the Site. We anonymously use this information to see how we can improve how the Site works and how we can provide you with better information online.
